IANT Announces the India Day Celebrations

On Jan 22, 2023, India Association of North Texas (IANT) celebrated the 46 th

India Day in commemoration of 74 th India’s Republic Day
India Association of North Texas celebrated the 46 th India Day in
commemoration of 74 th India’s Republic Day at the Eisemann Center in
Richardson, Texas, USA. The Dignitaries of the event were Consul General of
India in Houston Sh. Aseem R. Mahajan, Texas State Rep’s Ana Marie Ramos,
Matt Shaheen and Salman Bhojani. City of Richardson Mayor Paul Walker and
Council Members Joe Corcoran, Ken Huchenrider, Arefin Shamsul, City of
Garland Mayor Scott LeMay, City of Frisco Council Member Laura Rummel,
Frisco ISD Board of Trustee Gopal Ponangi, City of Little Elm Council Member
Tony Singh, City of Irving Mayor Proterm Al Zapanta, City of Plano Mayor John
Muns. Congressman Collin Allred could not join; however, he has sent IANT a
very inspiring letter of support.
The event started off with the Indian National Anthem and American National
Anthem followed by 65 Spectacular programs depicting the rich glorious
culture and heritage of various art and dance forms of India by more than 800
performers (kids and Adults) amidst thousands of community members at the
Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas.

The Dignitaries were felicitated by the IANT President Dinesh Hooda, IANT
Board & IANT Trustees and the performers were recognized with the trophies.
IANT President Dinesh Hooda thanked the IANT Board members, volunteers ,
Choreographers and the performers for making this event a grand success.
Dinesh also thanked the sponsors for their generous contributions to IANT in
the year 2023 and promised to take the IANT to next level. IANT Board of
Trustee Chair Indu Reddy Mandadi thanked the Board for their untiring efforts
for the last three months in making the event a grand success. Indu also
thanked sponsors and assured the Board of Trustees would strive to support
the organization to their best.
Counsul General of India (Houston) Aseem R. Mahajan and the other
dignitaries praised the IANT Board members for their voluntary contribution via
various socio-cultural and charity programs to the community at large in the
DFW Metroplex and congratulated the Board for making the 46 th India Day
event a grand success.

    Independence Day, Texas size. In addition to Consular camps, Health Camps,
    Women’s Day celebration, Gandhi Jayanti, Gandhi Peace Walk, Yoga day,
    Painting Competition and We also provide support and guidance to the
    Indian American community.
