Last Saturday (July 19, 2025) was a Divine one at DFW Ekta Mandir – the Hindu temple – Sri Bhaskar Rayavaram offered the commentary during the spectacular Sri Padmavati-Srinivasa Kalyanam. The sacred ceremony unfolded amidst the resonant chanting of Vedic mantras by the revered temple priests, Brahmasri Kantharaju Sai Krishna Sharma and Brahmasri Balaji Ranganatha Sharma, casting a spiritual glow over the entire gathering.
The air was charged with devotion as legendary vocalist Sri Parupalli Ranganath Garu, along with Dallas-based music guru Smt. Sameera Sripada Garu, eminent tabla maestro Sri Esha Prasad Garu, violin master Sri Ganesh Garu, and the talented mridangam artist Chi. Harish, came together in divine harmony. Their soulful rendition of Annamacharya Sankeerthanas reverberated with the name of Govinda Nama SmaraNa, transforming the entire event into a sublime spectacle of bhakti and joy.
From start to finish, it was not just a Kalyanam—it was a spiritual celebration for the eyes, ears, and soul!
