In a major corporate reshuffle, South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics announced it is officially relocating its U.S. headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Plano, Texas. Expected to be completed by the end of 2026, the move will consolidate the company’s North American operations and potentially bring over 1,000 jobs to the Lone Star State. Samsung will not be building a new facility from scratch; instead, it is transitioning its U.S. headquarters directly into its existing corporate campus located at 6625 Excellence Way, near Legacy Drive. This strategic migration allows the company to capitalize on Texas’s business-friendly tax environment, lower operational costs, and align itself more closely with its massive semiconductor manufacturing operations already established in the state.
