North American Telugu Society (NATS) Dallas Chapter hosting one of the largest free medical camps

North American Telugu Society (NATS) Dallas Chapter marked a major milestone in community welfare by hosting one of the largest free medical camps in the organization’s history. Delivering seven hours of continuous, non-stop service, the medical camp provided critical health checkups, screenings, and doctor consultations to more than 1,000 individuals across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Organized to bridge essential gaps in community wellness, the outreach prioritized vulnerable residents who face systemic barriers to routine clinical visits. A significant portion of the day’s beneficiaries included parents visiting from India, local students, and uninsured youth and families. The initiative was made possible through a collaboration with healthcare professionals from Carrollton Regional Medical Center. Physicians, nurses, and clinical staff worked tirelessly across all seven hours, providing one-on-one evaluations, diagnostic checks, and guidance with dedicated patient care.

”When a community unites with pure intent, real impact follows,” said NATS Chairman Sri Kishore Kancharla. “Reaching more than 1,000 people was about much more than numbers—it meant offering comfort, diagnostic clarity, and reassurance to people who otherwise might not have had access to a vital health checkup. The heartfelt relief and gratitude we saw from families today validate our mission of selfless service.”

NATS President Raj Allada and NATS Chairman Kishore Kancharla warmly applauded the team’s relentless efforts, congratulating everyone on the astounding success of the mega camp and expressing deep pride in the chapter’s dedication to impactful humanitarian service.

The resounding success of the event was steered by the dedicated leadership of the NATS Dallas Chapter team, led by Chapter Coordinators Kiran Nare and Pavani Nunna, alongside Medical Camp Coordinators Sowjanya Ravella and Krishna Vyakaranam, whose meticulous planning, operational oversight, and teamwork ensured smooth execution throughout the day. NATS Executive Web Secretary Kishore Nare was instrumental in planning, structuring, and coordinating the overall efforts. NATS Media Relations Coordinator Sravan Nidiganti played a key role in conducting and managing the camp proceedings, working closely with prominent national leadership who were present on the ground to support the drive, including NATS Board of Directors Secretary Adi Gelli, Board Directors Ajay Govada and Vijay Konda, NATS Joint Secretary Bhanu Lanka, and Zonal Vice President Ratnakar Settipalli.

Crucial on-the-ground support was powered by dedicated core team volunteers Badari Biyyapu, Hridhay Dandu, Adhi Gopalam, Naren Shiva, Rohit Sunkara, Satish Bojanki, Sudhir Medapati, Harsha Devavarapu, Advaith Nare, and Veda Nidiganti. A standout highlight of the camp was the vibrant participation of more than 15 youth volunteers, including high school and pre-med students. Their energetic presence, empathy, and organizational discipline across registration, triage, and patient flow were central to managing the massive turnout with warmth and efficiency.

NATS leadership extended its deepest appreciation to Carrollton Regional Medical Center, community partners, patrons, and the entire volunteer family whose collective labor made this historic service camp possible.
